Thank you so much for joining my course. Get your voice out. Start your own podcast. I'm gonna take you through everything you need to know from the beginning to the end on how to publish, promote, and even monetize your podcast. My name's Niall Mackay, and I'm really excited to take you through this journey.

So let's start right at the beginning. Why even make a podcast? You probably already listened to many. You must love the format if you're here and it's because podcasts are personal fun and informative.

Both you and the listener, get to connect around a topic that you're both passionate about. And as a medium podcast is growing quickly around the world. There are only 500,000 active podcasts at the moment. And when you compare that to the 600 million blogs in the world, it's definitely not too late to start your own podcast.

In fact, no is the best. So who am I? And why am I telling you this? Mo my name's Niall Mackay. I'm a teacher I'm based in Vietnam and I'm the founder of Seven Million Bikes podcasts. I started in 2019 with my own podcast called a Vietnam podcast, which was sharing the stories of people connected to this country.

From there. I grew and I produced a second podcast. I've grown my passion, which is comedy. I'm a standup comedian as well called, did that really happen? Where I interview comedians from around the world, play one of the jolts and then ask them, did that really happen? Now I've grown to produce podcasts for clients around the world from diverse fields, such as it craft beer, food, pharmaceutical, marketing, and design.

So what is this course about? First of all, thank you so much for trusting me to help you on your podcast. Johnny, I'm excited for you to get on this ride. Podcasting has literally changed my life with the connections that I've made, the people that I've met, the skills I've learned and the opportunities that it's given.

So let's get you on this, John, in this course, I will outline everything you need to know from start to finish so that you can get your podcast out. So by the end of this course, I'm gonna cover just a short introduction to podcasting. I'm sure you already know, but I'll give you a little bit more background.

what you need to do before you start recording. We've got a few steps before you even get in front of the microphone. how to record it, how to edit it efficiently. And that's gonna be really key because it's one of the biggest barriers to podcasting is the editing process. So I'm gonna explain more about that and how you can do it quickly and easily.

Then I'm gonna show you how to publish your first episode. And finally we'll go through some monetization steps. So let's get started before we go any further. If you do have any questions at any time, then please feel free to email me. You can see my email there on the screen. It's Niall at Seven Million Bikes dot com.

Now I am busy. But I will do my very best to respond to you as quickly as possible, but I guarantee that I will definitely respond. So please send me an email, send me a message on Facebook. I'd definitely love to hear from you. All right. I hope you're as excited as I am. Let's get started.
